Silverlining Hosts Its First Chamber Event!

January was a busy month for silverlining!  As the host of the Venice Chamber of Commerce’s Mixer, there was much preparation to be done!  From spreading the love with Valentine’s décor to stocking the store with our latest designer merchandise, our volunteers, students, and staff all worked together to help make the event a success!  I was thrilled to hear such enthusiastic responses to silverlining from our newest customers!  Chamber members mingled, sipped on wine, & enjoyed gourmet Mexican food.  Soft tacos, fresh quesadillas, crispy Mediterranean salad & warm tortilla chips & salsa were all generously donated on behalf of Benny’s Tacos, the co-host of the event and my new personal favorite Mexican restaurant!  In addition to all proceeds from silverlining’s sales benefiting The Help Group and its programs for our students with Autism, the store also serves as a vocational program, offering invaluable life skills and competitive employment opportunities.  As an avid fashion follower, silverlining is at the top of my shopping destination lists in Los Angeles!  Stay tuned for more fun upcoming events and updates and be sure to stop by silverlining for a truly guilt-free shopping experience!  What better way to wear a good cause?
